Circuit 1.0
Our first flagship meetup — short talks, lightning sessions, and a room full of Hull's tech community. It happened 11 April 2026 at Oasis Hub.
What happened
Circuit 1.0 was our first flagship meetup — an afternoon of short talks, lightning sessions, and community conversations at Oasis Hub on Newland Avenue. Engineers, product people, designers, founders, and students turned up, and the room stayed loud well past the closing remarks.
It proved what we suspected: Hull's tech community is real, it's generous, and it wanted a room to meet in.
What's next
Circuit was the beginning, not the destination. The energy from that afternoon is going straight into our next event: Hackathon 1.0 — Build for Hull, a build weekend themed on making things for this city and the people in it.
The Cafe keeps running monthly online in between, and Circuit will be back. Follow us on Instagram to hear about everything first.
