Welcome to Village Square

Village Square is a tech community in Hull. We exist to bring together people working across engineering, product, design, startups, and data — to share knowledge, meet each other, and strengthen the local tech ecosystem.

Technology today is more than code. It's about products, people, ideas, and collaboration. Village Square is where those things come together.

Why we started this

Hull has talented people working in tech, many of whom work remotely or in small teams. There hasn't been an obvious place for those people to find each other. We want to create a space where people can connect, share experiences, and build a stronger local tech ecosystem.

By bringing together people across different areas of technology, we hope to spark collaboration, learning, and new opportunities.

What we run

• Circuit — our flagship meetup. Circuit 1.0 lands on 11 April 2026 at Oasis Hub: short talks, lightning sessions, community conversations, and plenty of networking. It's free — read the recap.
• The Cafe — our monthly online session: one themed talk and a live Q&A. The easiest way to plug in.
• Hackathons — in the works. Watch this space.
